Who Needs Disneyland.

A good friend of mine from Utah came and visited us this weekend. She is due a month before me so it was fun talking about babies. We competed in high jump together at the UofU so it was great to reminisce. It feels like it was a lifetime ago that I was there.

Gage loves the rides at Freestone Park, for him its as good as Disneyland. He is crazy about it.

We also went and crashed my parents ward party that Sat. and I loved seeing Ashlie and Tiff there doing the same thing.

Bun in the Oven

This is like a 1 sec. video of Baby moving. I'm in the awkward stage where I kinda look pregnant but mostly like I had too much for lunch. I look forward to the real deal bump and then being able to feel those amazing little kicks and punches

Excited for BABY #2 - Due Date October 9th

So we are thrilled to announce that we are going to expand our family this year. I am 15 weeks along and over the icky sicky feeling. I have way more energy and ready to take on the rest of the pregnancy. Cody did an ultrasound yesterday and he is pretty confident that we are having a girl. At 14 weeks he scanned me when I was pregnant with Gage and there was no doubt it was a boy, so..... at this point we are thinking GIRL. But we'll know for sure in a couple more weeks.

We've had Cody's folks in town the past 4 days and it has been nice to see them. The best thing was staying in a cabin in Payson. We did dutch oven cobbler, foil dinners, hiking, and enjoyed being up in the mountains.
Also, Gage has been such a Daddy's Boy lately, he'll settle for me if I'm the only one, but if Cody is there he really could do without me. Yea, I have mixed feelings about this.

Gage is loving the new pavers in our side yard.

Loves to eat, but is getting way pickier

Excited to kick off the swimming season

Raquel is a MOMMY - Presley Petersen is here!

This morning I went to visit Raquel in the hospital. She delivered Presley last night, a week early. Raquel looked amazing and I could feel such a neat spirit in the room. Presley is PERFECT, and is a good mix of both Raquel and Paul. I'm already crazy about her. Well done you two.

Birthday, Easter, Weddings, and Babies

I've been MIA lately. Our family came down with a terrible case of the flu, but we are doing great except for our lingering coughs. Since my last post I had a wonderful birthday, wow 26, filled with family and friends enjoying dinner and parties with. Thank you for the fun.

Easter was also great, Cody and I are the activity chairs of our ward and we had a great turnout to the Easter Party. We have an awesome committee who make it happen. I was so impressed with Gage, he totally got into. He was racing from candy to candy to fill up his bucket. It's silly how us mother's are so totally obsessed about our kids, it's kinda pathetic.

I've photographed 2 weddings in the last 2 weeks which were fun, stressful, and rewarding. I love weddings, everyone is so happy, there is always great food, decorations and flowers are beautiful; I love being apart of it.

Megan had her baby, and WOW. I loved hearing the whole story of the birth and he is a perfect baby boy with tons of BLOND hair. She was already walking around in the hospital room only having the baby the night before. The more I hear about other's deliveries. the more I realize how whimpy I was. Congrats, Papworth's!

I am now anticipating my sister, who could be going into labor any day now. This will be exciting, to have another niece and watch Raquel as a mother.

And lastly, YEAH my dad had his crew lay pavers in our side yard. It looks amazing and now Gage is loving the extra space to play outside. Thanks Mom and Dad and Cody - Awesome birthday present!
