Viva Las Vegas
We were due for a vacation and this was the perfect get-away. Too bad we planned it on a busy weekend, sorry about missing the baby blessing, graduation, and Bachelorette party.
The weather was amazing, but not so much for swimming, so we hit up all the touristy spots and loved it. We also ate like piggies, some of the best food ever. We stayed 2 nights on the strip and 2 nights with friends(Johnny and Melina) that live in Henderson. They have the best parks ever in Henderson. Melina said ours would be as good if we decided to legalize gambling, and Thanks to modern technology, Gage was a champ in the car. Yet, we are glad to be home and we loved spending time with the Wood Family at Rocky's Birthday Bash. Thanks Raquel for the fun party.

We Are Officially Having A Girl
This was a really a special ultrasound for me. Cody, Gage, I just sat in amazement watching this new little baby move, punch and kick inside of me. I get excited every time I think about having a girl. Our family feels so blessed.
When the tech measured her legs she reported that she has especially long legs compared to the rest of her body. I thought it was funny how limber she looked with her legs by her head.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day! My boys are so good to me. The greatest thing is that Cody pretty much treats me special on a regular basis, but I could tell he put in extra effort this weekend.
I also have some pretty amazing mothers that I am surrounded by. You are all examples to me from Brooke Martin and Nicole putting in so much time to teach their kids and have them be so involved in learning from Raquel and Megan being so sweet with their new little infants. It's an overwhelming and scary undertaking, but having all you great mothers in my life help me feel how important this role is.

Ryan is a Great Dad
So Ryan is flying solo with 3 kids this weekend while his wife, Nicole is running a marathon in NYC. He called me up yesterday to tell me about this fun play area they have at golfland. Well, I just have to blog about what an awesome Dad he is. It was so fun to see him in action. I've always know him to be a great brother, but he also loves his kids and being a Dad. I loved spending the morning with him and will be sad when he has to move away with his family for a couple of years to finish up medical school. In the meantime, they are a BLAST to be with.
